Obituary of Wayne Albert Redenius
Wayne Albert Redenius, 76, Fort Atkinson passed away on Friday, June 1, 2018 at Wellington Place, Fort Atkinson.
Wayne was born on February 10, 1942 in Bradford Township, Walworth County, WI to Theodore and Jean (Tremaine) Redenius. He graduated from Fort Atkinson High School in 1960. He served his country in the United States Air Force where he was stationed in England. This is where he met Daphne Wharton. They were married on November 9, 1963 in Peterborough, England. Wayne was a dairy farmer from the time he left the service. He enjoyed bowling, hunting, fishing, and had a love of animals. He was known for his love of visiting with family, friends and neighbors.
He is survived by his wife Daphne; children Belinda (Scott) Davis, Mukwonago, Wayne II “Bud” (Terri) Redenius, Fort Atkinson, John “Jack” (Yanely) Redenius, Milton, Michael (Janel) Redenius, Jefferson, Elizabeth (Eric) Golemgeske, Fort Atkinson, Jocelyn (Chris) Coon, Elm Grove; grandchildren, Alisha (Scott), Phillip, Brittany (Matt), Dawson, Brandon, Jeran, Devan, Jillian, Jaxon, Finley, Jennifer, Aaron, Kim, Yovana; great-grandchild, Grace; brothers, Roy Redenius, Lake Tomahawk, Theodore (Barbara) Redenius, Fort Atkinson; many nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by his parents and infant sister Theodora.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, June 6, 2018 at 5:00pm at the Nitardy Funeral Home, 1008 Madison Ave., Fort Atkinson, WI. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 3:00pm until the time of the service. The family would like to thank Rainbow Hospice and the staff at Wellington Place for their loving care.
