Obituary of Frances Helen Dauffenbach

Lake Mills,WI - Frances Helen Dauffenbach, 89, formerly of Burlington, WI, passed away on Friday, March 8, 2013 at St. Mary�s Medical Center in Madison, WI. Frances was born in Waukesha, WI on May 20, 1923, the daughter of William and Margaret Wagner. She graduated from Waukesha High School in 1941 and on November 27, 1943, she married Naval Officer Robert Wm. Dauffenbach Sr. She was preceded in death by her husband in 2008 and her son Robert Jr. in September 1973. She was a member of St. Paul�s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Lake Mills. Surviving her are sons Richard J. (Penny) and Randy S. (Marsha) Dauffenbach, both of Burlington, WI, and daughter Debra L. Camodeca of Waterloo, WI. Also grandchildren Jessica (Steven) Mulari, Amy (Stephen) Young, Gregory Dauffenbach, Sarah Camodeca and Joseph Camodeca, great-grandchildren Breanna and William Young, and Steven Mulari Jr. Fran�s family grew in 1966-67 when Frances and Robert hosted an AFS student, Fernando Garzona Messequer, from Cartago, Costa Rica. Fernando and his wife, Gioconda, their children, Fernando Jr. (Mariela), Marcella (Hector) and Roberto (Villian), grandchildren Elena, Irene, Sara, Christine, Hector Jr., Jean Paul, and Josette have all been frequent visitors to Fran�s home. Visitation will be held St. Paul�s Ev. Lutheran Church in Lake Mills from 9:30 to 11:00 on Tuesday morning March 12, 2013, with a service to follow at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials to St. Paul�s Ev. Lutheran Church, the Rock Lake Improvement Association, or the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.The Nitardy Funeral Home of Fort Atkinson is assisting the family.
