Obituary of Frank James Hall

Frank James Hall Jr., 95, a longtime Whitewater resident and recently of Cedar Crest, Janesville, passed away on Sunday, November 19, 2017 at Cedar Crest Community in Janesville, WI. Frank was born on December 12, 1921 in Racine WI. to Frank and Philadelphia (Bones) Hall. He received his Bachelor's Degree from Ripon College. Frank served his country during both World War II and Korea as a 1st Lieutenant in the United States Army. Frank married Harriet Cox on August 11, 1945. He was employed as the building and grounds supervisor for the Whitewater Unified School District. Frank was a proud member of the American Legion and the St. John's Masonic Lodge #57. He enjoyed fishing, woodworking, bird watching and gardening. He is survived by his children James (Karen) Hall, Oshkosh, WI, Penelope (Richard) Kyle, Milton, WI, Phillip (Jeanie) Hall, Lake Geneva, WI, Laura (Steven) Rowley, Stoughton, WI; grandchildren, Michelle (Tim) Cline, Largo, FL, Jason (David Kafer) Hall, Savannah, GA, Rick (Lisa) Kyle, Janesville, WI, Daniel (Kelli Cox) Kyle, Napa, CA, Amy (Jamie) Dahlke , Janesville, WI, Ryan Hall, Washington DC, Tyler Hall, Farley, IA, 10 great-grandchildren; sister, Cornelia Wrixton, Burlington, WI; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Harriet, brother-in-law, Robert Wrixton and daughter-in-law, Paula Hall A Memorial Service with Masonic rites will be held on Thursday, November 30, 2017 at 11:00am at the Nitardy Funeral Home, 550 N. Newcomb St., Whitewater, WI 53190. Burial with military honors will follow at the Hillside Cemetery, Whitewater. Friends may call at the Nitardy Funeral Home on Thursday from 10:00am until the time of the service. The family would like to thank the staff at Cedar Crest and Agrace Hospice for their loving care.
