Obituary of Norma Jean Bickle

Norma Jean Bickle, 81, Fort Atkinson, passed away on Thursday, December 21, 2017 surrounded by her family. Norma was born on January 2, 1936 in Fort Atkinson to Harlow and Jeanette (Romig) Telfer. She graduated from Fort Atkinson High School. She married Wayne Bickle on September 22nd, 1956 at the Hebron United Methodist Church. He preceded her in death on October 25, 2005. Norma worked at the Fireside Dinner Theater as a seamstress and in the gift shops for 19 years. She enjoyed sewing, quilting and being a caregiver for others throughout her life. Norma was a member of The First United Methodist Church, Fort Atkinson and was active in Loving Hands and the church choir. She is survived by her sons, DuWayne (Holly)Bickle, Mark (JoAnn) Bickle , and Jeffrey (Janis) Bickle all from Fort Atkinson, WI; grandchildren, Ashley, Megan, Lindsey, Colin and Joshua; great-grandchildren, Aubrey, Kaeden and Amya; brother, G. Dixon (Connie) Telfer, Hebron. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Wayne. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, December 28, 2017 at 11:00am at The First United Methodist Church, 320 S. Main St, Fort Atkinson, WI 53538. Friends may call at the church on Thursday from 10:00am until the time of the service. The family would like to thank Rainbow Hospice for their loving care and allowing Norma to stay at Mark and JoAnn's home.
