Myrtle Edith EISENBRANDT, age 83, of Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin, passed away, Tuesday, March 10, 2009, at the Fort Atkinson Memorial Hospital. Myrtle was born in Ann Arbor, Michigan on November 6, 1925, the daughter of Gerald and Alma (Patefield) Edom. She graduated from Joliet High School in 1943 and then attended teachers college. Myrtle worked as a sales promoter for the Scott Foresmann Textbook Company in Chicago. On January 14, 1950, Myrtle married Glenn Eisenbrandt in Joliet, and the couple farmed in Illinois. After raising a family, Myrtle worked as a secretary for the Fort Atkinson School District. Myrtle was a member of the First Congregational United Church of Christ where she was active with Circle 3, a former Sunday School teacher and helped establish the Day Care Center at the church. She was very involved with porcelain doll classes at MATC. Surviving are: Husband: Glenn Eisenbrandt, Whitewater, WI, Daughter: Jacqueline Eisenbrandt, Goodview, VA, Son: Glenn "Ray" (Lannie) Eisenbrandt Jr., Milwaukee, WI, Son: Paul (Sherri) Eisenbrandt, Plano, TX, Daughter: Sally (Ted) Carlson, Hales Corners, WI, and Son: David (Anita) Eisenbrandt, Stillwater, MN, Twelve Grandchildren and One Great-grandchild, and Sister: Geraldine Snyder, Springfield, IL. Myrtle was preceded in death by her parents and a sister Jacqueline Edom. Funeral Services will be held Sunday, March 15, 2009, at 3:00PM at the First Congregregational United Church of Christ, Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin with Rev. Chris Buckingham-Taylor officiating. Burial will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery, Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin. Friends may call after 1:00PM on Sunday at the church until the services. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to the First Congregational Church, Fort Atkinson or to Fairhaven in Whitewater.
