Obituary of Stephanie Joanne Rappold

Stephanie Joanne Thibault Rappold, Age 38 passed away on February 10, 2018 at Mercy Health in Rockford, IL due to complications from a stroke. Stephanie was born on August 4, 1979 in Waukesha to Christine and David Thibault. She attended Horace Mann High School in Fond Du Lac, WI. Stephanie was a property manager for Asset Development group in Fort Atkinson and she was a caregiver for Abilities, Inc in Fort Atkinson. Stephanie met Amy Rappold in 2000 and after 15 years together they were united in marriage on June 13, 2015. Stephanie loved the Green Bay Packers, Nascar racing, especially Jeff Gordon, reading romance novels, playing bingo at Potowatami, spending time at her family's cabin in Spooner, WI and being with her family, especially the light of her life, her granddaughter, Scarlett. Stephanie is survived by her loving wife, Amy; Son, Bryce Thibault; Granddaughter, Scarlett Thibault; Mother and Stepfather, Christine and Darrell Ottow; Father and Stepmother, David and Madeline Thibault; In-laws, Jose and Anna Aguilera; Brother, Jason (Fiance Jessica Potter) Thibault; Nieces Marissa Thibault and Alaina Jackson; Sister in law, Laura (Bill Kerr) Aguilera; Aunts and Uncles, Douglas (Char Femrite) Ottow, Debra (Steve Harrison), Tim (Louise) Thibault and Lori Thibault. She is also survived by countless cousins, other relatives and friends, all of whom will miss her tremendously. She also leaves behind her beloved dog, Sophie and cat, Husky. She is preceded in death by her Aunt Christine Ottow; grandparents, Darrell and Lucille Ottow; Grandmother, Charlotte Bucane and cousin Jason Ottow. A Memorial Service will take place at 4PM on Sunday, February 18, 2018 at the Nitardy Funeral Home, 1008 Madison Ave., Fort Atkinson, WI 53538. Friends may greet the family from 2PM until the time of the Service. The Family would like to thank Mercy Health Adult Critical Care Unit of Rockford, IL.
